Poem included in Poetry in Transit

Hi, friends! I’ll be performing (online) as part of the launch of Poetry in Transit on September 25, 1-2pm. It’s a free event presented by Read Local BC and you can register here. I’m very excited to have a poem on public transit–it’s been a little dream of mine since I was a wee undergraduate writing student in Victoria, reading poems of published authors on buses… and then, later, a grad student, spotting poems on the 99 B Line to UBC.

If you see my poem, “New Moon (Honeymoon)” on one of your bus trips this year, please snap a photo and share with me! COVID-19 (and parenting) has meant I can’t make it out to Vancouver, and seeing my poem on a bus would be so cool… Please share my excitement!
